Cantharis is the No 1 remedy for the intense pain of burns.

Also it is one of the first remedies to be considered for cystitis, a burning pain in the bladder both before and after passing water.

There can be intense mental and physical irritation. 

The complaints come on suddenly and violently. 

Pains are cutting and burning, the pain can be raw and burning, with soreness and smarting, the skin can become inflamed.
